A: We use fresh dates, a natural form of energy and antioxidants eaten by humans for thousands of years, as the main carbohydrate source for our products. We then add plant-based proteins, nuts and seeds for increased fiber, minerals and protein to fuel you even longer.
A: If you’re not going to eat the whole jar within a week of it being outside the fridge, yes. Because we don’t use chemical preservatives or emulsifiers, refrigeration is required to maintain the optimal freshness, consistency, and flavor of the energy bites.
A: Each jar stays fresh for about five months in the fridge before opened. Once opened, we recommend finishing the jar within three weeks.
A: Yep! Unwrapp’d stays fresh up to a week unrefrigerated at room temperature, so feel free to take it with you on your adventures. A: Trace amounts of caffeine naturally occur in cocoa, so our flavors using raw cocoa powder or nibs will technically contain trace amounts. Otherwise, nope!
A: Heck yeah! On your jar you’ll find simple baking instructions. 10-15 minutes at 350F and we recommend flipping them over halfway through.
A: Absolutely. Our favorite use of the Mint Chocolate flavor is actually frozen. Freezing will extend the shelf life of your jar to 11 months, but we recommend not waiting that long to fend off any potential freezer burn. You can put the whole jar in the freezer as is.
A: Nope! None of our flavors contain egg or dairy.
A: Yes! All of our flavors are vegetarian and vegan. The first store Unwrapp’d was ever sold in was Nooch Vegan Market in Denver, Colorado.
A: Three bites.
A: Of course! None of our ingredients contain gluten or soy. We do, however, make our energy bites in a facility that also produces wheat and gluten containing products, just so you know.
